How many of you have seen the movie
UP? I have and I think that it is a very sweet movie and if you haven't seen it I recommend it! I think the movie is a very strong base on true friendship, love, and commitment.
Here is a summary of the movie!
"A young Carl Fredrickson meets a young adventure spirited girl named Ellie. They both dream of going to a lost land in South America." Ellie and Carl become really good friend and marry each other. "70 years later, Ellie dies. Carl remembers the promise he made to her. Then, when he inadvertently hits a construction worker, he is forced to go to a retirement home. But before they can take him, he and his house fly away. However, he has a stowaway aboard: and 8-year-old boy named Russell, who's trying to get an Assisting the Elderly badge. Together, they embark on an adventure where they encounter talking dogs, and evil villain and a rare bird named Kevin." IMDb
What they didn't say in the summary was that Ellie had an adventure book where she was going to write all about their trip to South America. After she died the book was put away and Carl didn't open it until he had carried out his promise to her. To place their house at the top of the waterfall (second picture). When he opened the Adventure book, he found pictures of their lives together and on the very last page it said, "Thanks for the adventure Now go have a new one! - Love Ellie"
